Yesterme(이하 "앱")은 사용자가 매일 사진을 남겨 변화를 기록하는 앱입니다. 이 문서는 앱이 어떤 정보를 다루고 다루지 않는지를 설명합니다.
요약
- 사진과 영상은 저희 서버로 전송되지 않습니다. 촬영한 사진과 앱이 만든 타임랩스 영상은 기기 안에만 저장됩니다.
- 저희가 보관하는 것은 로그인 식별을 위한 이메일 주소뿐입니다.
- 광고가 나옵니다. 두 번째 타임랩스부터 영상을 만들기 전에 전면광고가 한 번 뜹니다(Google AdMob). 유료 구독은 광고를 없앱니다.
- 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 다만 광고를 내보내기 위해 광고망에 넘어가는 것이 있습니다 — 무엇인지 아래 1-6에 적었습니다.
- 어떤 화면이 얼마나 쓰이는지 알기 위해 계정과 연결되지 않는 익명 사용 통계를 남깁니다(아래 1-5).
1. 수집하는 정보
1-1. 계정 정보
Apple 또는 Google 로그인 시 이메일 주소와 계정 식별자를 받습니다. 로그인 상태를 유지하고, 기기를 바꿨을 때 본인을 확인하는 데만 사용합니다.
Apple 로그인에서 이메일 가리기를 선택하면 저희는 실제 이메일 주소를 알 수 없습니다.
1-2. 사진과 영상
앱에서 촬영한 사진과 생성한 타임랩스 영상은 기기 내부 저장소에 저장됩니다. 저희 서버로 업로드되지 않으며, 저희는 열람할 수 없습니다.
다만 iPhone 설정에서 iOS의 iCloud 백업을 켜 두셨다면, 다른 앱들과 마찬가지로 이 앱의 파일도 기기 백업에 포함됩니다. 이는 Apple이 제공하는 기능이고 사용자 본인의 iCloud 영역이며, 저희는 그 백업에 접근할 수 없습니다. 저희가 올리는 것이 아니라 사용자의 기기 설정에 따른 것입니다.
1-3. 얼굴 인식과 자동 정렬
얼굴·피부 기록의 자동 정렬은 Apple의 Vision 프레임워크로 기기 안에서만 처리됩니다. 앱은 사진에서 두 눈의 위치 좌표(점 두 개)만 구해 그 사진의 정렬 기준점으로 씁니다. 몸 기록은 어깨 두 점을, 그 밖의 기록은 사각형 하나를 같은 방식으로 씁니다.
- 저장하는 것: 그 좌표 두 점뿐입니다. 사진과 함께 기기 안에만 저장되며, 사진을 지우거나 앱을 삭제하면 함께 지워집니다.
- 만들지 않는 것: 얼굴 이미지의 복사본, 얼굴 특징 벡터, 신원을 식별하는 템플릿은 만들지 않습니다. 누구인지 알아보거나 사람을 구별하는 데 쓰지 않습니다.
- 전송·공유: 저희 서버로도, 제3자에게도 보내지 않습니다. 광고·분석 SDK에도 전달되지 않습니다.
- 보관 기간: 해당 사진이 기기에 있는 동안만입니다. 별도의 보관은 없습니다.
1-4. 결제
구독 결제는 Apple의 App Store를 통해 처리됩니다. 저희는 카드 번호 등 결제 수단 정보를 받지 않습니다.
1-5. 익명 사용 통계
앱을 어떻게 고쳐야 할지 알기 위해 동작이 일어났다는 사실을 Mixpanel로 보냅니다. 보내는 것은 다음 여섯 가지뿐입니다.

여기에 없는 것이 더 중요합니다. 사진·영상·메모의 내용, 기록의 이름, 이메일 주소, 위치는 보내지 않습니다. 메모는 썼는지 여부만 보내고 내용은 보내지 않습니다.
이 기록은 계정과 연결되지 않습니다. 로그인 정보를 통계 도구에 넘기지 않으므로, 앱 설치마다 만들어지는 임의의 번호에만 붙습니다. 앱을 지우면 그 번호도 사라집니다.
IP 주소로 도시나 지역을 알아내는 기능은 꺼 두었습니다. 이 통계에는 광고 식별자(IDFA)를 넣지 않습니다 — 광고 쪽에서 무엇을 쓰는지는 아래 1-6에 따로 적었습니다.
1-6. 광고
앱은 Google AdMob으로 광고를 내보냅니다. 첫 타임랩스는 광고 없이 만들어지고, 그다음부터 영상을 만들기 전에 전면광고가 한 번 뜹니다(하루 5회까지). Yesterme Pro를 구독하면 광고가 사라집니다.
광고를 내보내기 위해 AdMob이 받는 것은 다음과 같습니다. 이 목록은 Google이 SDK에 함께 넣어 둔 개인정보 매니페스트를 그대로 옮긴 것입니다.

IDFA는 허락하셔야만 쓰입니다. iOS의 추적 허용 창에서 「허용 안 함」을 고르시면 IDFA 없이 광고가 나갑니다 — 광고가 관심사와 덜 맞을 뿐, 앱의 어떤 기능도 달라지지 않습니다. 이 창은 온보딩을 마치고 첫 컷을 남긴 뒤 한 번만 뜨고, 나중에 iPhone 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 추적에서 언제든 바꾸실 수 있습니다.
사진·영상·메모·기록 이름·이메일 주소는 광고망으로 가지 않습니다.
2. 수집하지 않는 정보

- 연락처, 통화 기록, 메시지
- 정확한 위치(GPS) — 위치 권한을 요청하지 않습니다

모든 권한은 거부해도 앱의 나머지 기능을 사용할 수 있습니다.
4. 데이터 보관과 삭제
- 사진·영상: 사용자가 라이브러리를 삭제하거나 앱을 삭제하면 기기에서 삭제됩니다.
- 계정 정보: 앱 내 설정 → 계정 삭제에서 즉시 삭제할 수 있습니다.
- 언제든 설정에서 모든 사진을 사진 앱으로 내보낼 수 있습니다. 이 기능은 무료 사용자에게도 제공됩니다.
5. 제3자 제공
저희는 어떤 개인정보도 판매하지 않습니다. 광고를 내보내기 위해 위 1-6의 항목이 Google AdMob으로 전달됩니다.
인증 처리를 위해 다음 서비스를 사용합니다.
- Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store 결제)
- Google Firebase Authentication — 로그인 방식과 무관하게 계정 관리를 담당합니다. Apple 로그인을 선택하셔도 Apple이 발급한 인증 토큰이 Firebase로 전달되어 계정이 만들어지며, 이메일 주소와 계정 식별자가 Firebase에 보관됩니다.
- Google (Google 로그인) — 위 Firebase와 별개로, 이 방식을 고르셨을 때 Google 계정 정보를 받습니다.
Firebase가 받는 것은 이메일 주소와 계정 식별자뿐입니다. 사진·영상·메모는 Firebase로 전송되지 않습니다.
사용 통계는 다음 서비스를 사용합니다.
- Mixpanel — 위 1-5의 익명 사용 통계를 받습니다. 계정 정보·사진·영상·메모는 전달되지 않습니다.
광고는 다음 서비스를 사용합니다.
- Google AdMob — 위 1-6의 항목을 받습니다. 사진·영상·메모·계정 정보는 전달되지 않습니다.
각 서비스의 개인정보 처리방침은 해당 회사의 정책을 따릅니다.
6. 아동의 개인정보
앱은 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 보호자가 아이의 성장을 기록하는 용도로 사용할 수 있으며, 이 경우에도 사진은 기기 밖으로 나가지 않습니다.
7. 변경 고지
이 방침이 변경되면 앱 내 공지 또는 이 페이지 갱신으로 알립니다.

Summary
- Your photos and videos are never sent to our servers. Everything you shoot and every timelapse Yesterme renders stays on your device.
- The only thing we store is an email address for sign-in.
- There are ads. From your second timelapse on, one full-screen ad plays before rendering (Google AdMob). A Yesterme Pro subscription removes them.
- We never sell your personal data. Some data does go to the ad network so ads can be served — section 1-6 lists exactly what.
1. What we collect
Account. Signing in with Apple or Google gives us your email address and an account identifier. We use it to keep you signed in and to recognize you on a new device. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we never see your real address.
Photos and videos. Stored in your device's storage. Never uploaded to us; we cannot view them. If you have iOS iCloud Backup switched on in your iPhone settings, this app's files are included in that device backup like any other app's — that is Apple's feature, in your own iCloud space, and we cannot access it. It happens because of your device setting, not because we upload anything.
Face detection and auto-alignment. Automatic alignment for face and skin libraries runs entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. The app derives only the coordinates of your two eyes (two points) from each photo and uses them as that photo's alignment reference. Body libraries use two shoulder points and other libraries use a single rectangle in the same way.
- What is stored: only those two points. They are kept on your device only, alongside the photo, and are deleted together with the photo or when you delete the app.
- What is never created: no copy of your face, no facial feature vector, no template that could identify you. The points are never used to recognize or distinguish people.
- Sharing: never sent to our servers or to any third party, and never passed to the ads or analytics SDKs.
- Retention: only as long as that photo remains on your device. There is no separate retention.
Payments. Handled by Apple's App Store. We never receive your payment details.
Ads
The app serves ads through Google AdMob. Your first timelapse renders with no ad; from the second on, one interstitial plays before rendering (up to five a day). A Yesterme Pro subscription removes ads entirely.
To serve those ads, AdMob receives the advertising identifier (IDFA) or a device-scoped identifier, advertising data (which ads you saw), coarse location inferred from your IP address, and diagnostic data. This list is copied from the privacy manifest Google ships inside the SDK.
The IDFA is only used if you allow it. Choose "Ask App Not to Track" and ads are served without it — they are simply less relevant. No app feature changes either way. The prompt appears once, after onboarding and your first shot, and you can change the answer any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Your photos, videos, notes, library names, and email address are never sent to the ad network.
2. What we do not collect

3. Permissions

Declining any permission still leaves the rest of the app usable.
4. Retention and deletion
Photos and videos are deleted from your device when you delete the library or the app. You can delete your account instantly in Settings → Delete account. You can export every shot to Photos at any time (2048 px long-edge copies) — free users included.
5. Third parties
We never sell your personal data. We use Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store payments) and Google (Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication) for authentication, Mixpanel for the anonymous usage statistics above, and Google AdMob for advertising — AdMob receives the items listed in section 1-6.
6. Children
Yesterme is not directed at children under 13. Parents may use it to record a child's growth; in that case too, the photos never leave the device.
